1984 KP61 Starlet Sprint
AE101 - 4age 20v motor backed by a 22 spline split case T50 gearbox from an AE86 Corolla. 20v flywheel and 16v clutch/pressure plate, FXGT hydrolic clutch conversion with remote resevoir. VL Turbo Fuel Pump, custom alloy airbox and simosa pod filter, custom radiator with CHEV slim line 12" electric blow thru fan. 4-1 extractors with 2.25" mandrel exhaust. Shortend sprint drive shaft finally backed up by a 4.3:1 TRD LSD diff.
King Super Lows all round, externally adjustable Konis with 50ml droop limiters on the rear. this combo has dropped the car 45ml rear and 60ml front.
15" 3 piece BBS Alloys and 195/50/15 rubbers, Mintex frant race pads.
Custom firewall, and centre console, removed heater, Carbon gear knob, Nikon Race Pedals, circuit breaker, custom black interior respray
Bronze paint job and club-k stickers, bonnet pins. Starlet EFI side badging.
This car has run a best of 14.89 @ 148 kph at meremere 1/4 mile.
Heat treated exhaust with heat wrap, full cold intake system, Link Plus ECU, bucket seats, chromolly front strut brace, adjustable camber plates.
